Second Shoot


This is my second shoot for my 'SPACE' assignment.
In my first shoot, I ventured to the skatepark (my space) during very late hours, when the space was isolated. For my second shoot, I went to the skatepark in the middle of the day where there were a lot of skaters using the space. By doing this I was able to see the difference between my first and second shoots. I feel that the space works better in my second shoot where there are people around, although the focus should be on the space itself, not the people in the space. I feel the shots are better quality during the day as well, rather than taking them at night.
I have decided for my final photos, I will take pictures of the space during the day, with people using the skatepark, rather than  taking pictures at night when no one is there.







I really like this image above because I think it captures the 'beauty' of the space and overall, aesthetically looks good. The short depth of field makes it look more intense and really focuses on the texture of the pole and I think the lens flare looks amazing.
